    NIBCO Associates are Owners

    All NIBCO associates are owners!

    Being owners elevates our associates' thinking and commitment to a whole new level. Having a "job" is one level; a "career" is another, but being an owner is the best.

    NIBCO established an Employee Stock Ownership Plan in 2002; however, NIBCO associates have been owners since 1922! All NIBCO associates are automatically enrolled in the ESOP after one year.

    NIBCO leaders encourage upward and cross-functional movement within the company. All positions are posted internally first to give our current associates opportunities to move up for promotions or to other functions or geographies of the company.

    Corporate and associate contributions to charitable organizations are integral to our culture at all NIBCO locations. The Relay for Life, Big Brothers, Big Sisters, March of Dimes, American Red Cross, The Salvation Army, The United Way, among others, are charities supported by our associates and by the Company.

    In 2000 NIBCO dedicated the NIBCO Soccer Complex, featuring seven soccer fields located on the grounds of World Headquarters in Elkhart. Rex Martin, NIBCO's Chairman, chose the soccer complex as a project that would provide long-term benefits to area children.

    In 2002, NIBCO donated a building to the American Red Cross to be used as the new facility for the local chapter, and also led a $1 Million Capital Campaign to pay for the upgrades to the building for a new state-of-the-art chapter headquarters right in the neighborhood!

    Community leadership through philanthropy is a responsibility at all NIBCO locations!
