    The Edge:
Product availability, quality, installation and the NIBCO factory rep’s responsiveness and service really proved to be the edge in NIBCO being awarded this project.

Thanks to their long-standing relationship with mechanical contractor T.J. Dyer and wholesaler Worly Supply, NIBCO was given an opportunity to bid on this significant project.

The contractor on this project has used a lot of NIBCO product in the past and was comfortable with our quality, service and breadth of product,” said NIBCO area manager Todd Schlosser. “We also offered them a very competitive price. I became involved during the bidding process when the distributor requested a quote, and then conducted jobsite training on the press fittings and valves. Since then, I’ve made numerous jobsite visits to ensure things are proceeding smoothly on this LEED project.”

Approximately $300,000 worth of NIBCO copper press fittings and valves will be used for the domestic water and HVAC applications in ½” through 3”, along with $100,000 in a wide range of NIBCO commercial valves.
