    Job Description

    The position is primarily responsible for leading and guiding the execution of sales, strategies and programs for the Specialty Sales Channels. Specialty channels are: OEM, Irrigation, Industry and Air Conditioning & Refrigeration. Managing key customer alliances, executive selling of NIBCO products and services to the channels.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Leadership and management of the Specialty Sales Team.
    • Build and maintain partnerships between Key Customers and groups in the Specialty Channels.
    • Manage, develop & oversee channel account growth, pricing, programming, terms rebates.
    • Team with internal NIBCO departments to provide solutions, programs, processes and better service for the customer.
    • Developing and executing creative ideas and programming for NIBCO, the Specialty Channels and the Customers to develop and grow the business.
    • Manage the manufacturer’s representative firms in the channels.
    • Develop a high level of product and technical knowledge.
    • Work and help trade shows and to be professional and comfortable in front of large groups of people

    EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Five years of plumbing/building industry sales and management experience or eight years of sales experience required.

    EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree Preferred. Business Degree Preferred

    SKILLS REQUIRED:

    Must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint. SAP experience is a plus.
